Primary Navigation
The primary navigation is used to access the main area of the web site. This navigation system is located on the far left of the page.
The images on the right depict the two different states of the navigation. The first image with shows the button when it is still accessible. Clicking on a button in this state will take you to the appropriate area of the web site.
The second image show a button in it's active state. This button is not linked as you are already in that particular area of the web site.
Secondary Navigation
Secondary navigation is used to break the current area up into logical areas.
The underlined text is link to the appropriate section.
When active, the underline is removed and the text is no longer linked.
Tertiary Navigation
Use these buttons to page through a sub-section of the web site. They perform the same function as the secondary navigation, but allow users to page through content if they wish to.
When the next button is faded, it means that there is no content beyond the current page.
The same applies to the back button
