Marie Horner founded Horner Recruitment in 1975 and with Kim Shearn as a Co-Director, built a very successful operation providing services to a broad range of industry sectors. Kim Shearn was a long serving Councilor of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) and was one of the first people to be appointed as a life member of the RCSA.

In June 2005 Peter Langford joined Horner Recruitment as Managing Director, and in January 2007 Peter acquired Horner Recruitment. Marie Horner and Kim Shearn have since retired. The Horner business, now in its third decade, continues to develop and grow.

Peter Langford holds a wealth of experience in providing recruitment and labour hire services to many industry sectors. This is Peter’s 25th year in the Recruitment Industry and his experience has been gained both in Australia and the UK. He has progressed from consulting to supervisory roles then senior management and directorship and now as the owner and Managing Director of HORNER Recruitment.

Peter was recently voted to a position on the RCSA National board.
