{"id":2349,"date":"2019-04-29T16:00:16","date_gmt":"2019-04-29T16:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horner-au.ap.applyflow.com\/uncategorized\/horner-ri-awards-finalist-recruitment-brand-year-award\/"},"modified":"2024-11-12T02:19:58","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T02:19:58","slug":"horner-ri-awards-finalist-recruitment-brand-year-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.horner.com.au\/horner-ri-awards-finalist-recruitment-brand-year-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Horner is a RI Awards Finalist for \u201cRecruitment Brand of the Year\u201d Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Horner is proud to announce we were shortlisted as a Finalist at the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recruitment-international.com.au\/events\/the-ri-awards-2019\">Recruitment International (RI) Awards<\/a> for the \u201cRecruitment Brand of the Year\u201d Award.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3037 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-01.cms-ap-v2i.applyflow.com\/horner-au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Horner-RI-Award-Finalist-2019-Recruitment-Brand-of-the-Year.png\" alt=\"RI Awards - Finalist - The Recruitment Brand of the Year 2019\" width=\"344\" height=\"131\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The annual RI Awards recognise innovation and best practice in the Australian recruitment\u00a0industry.<\/p>\n<p>After 13 years with our famous red hand logo, in September last year we unveiled our redesigned corporate identity taking our branding and market presence to a whole new level, \u2018Raising the Bar in Recruitment\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud of our new branding and being shortlisted as a Finalist\u00a0for this award further validates that we made the right decision to change.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3048 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-01.cms-ap-v2i.applyflow.com\/horner-au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Horner-rebrand.png\" alt=\"Horner rebrand\" width=\"432\" height=\"243\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The rebranding process clarified what we already knew and has given us the vehicle to better reflect and communicate our Horner attributes \u2013 from the inside out. Horner is revamped, agile, and synonymous with all things Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p>Our new Horner logo now portrays the personality of the team\u2019s passion for quality recruitment \u2013 with the red bar above the last \u2018r\u2019 in the word \u2018Horner\u2019 adding a contemporary feel and reinforcing the promotional tagline \u2013 \u2018Raising the Bar in Recruitment\u2019.\u00a0 Our secondary logo, \u2018Hr\u2019, plays on the acronym of the words Human Resources.<\/p>\n<p>At our core, we\u2019re Melbourne Recruitment Specialists. No matter which industry, the Horner brand represents recruitment excellence across Melbourne\u2019s dynamic industries. The new positioning of \u2018Melbourne Recruitment Specialists\u2019 provides a point of difference that is visually reinforced with exceptional and iconic images of Melbourne throughout all branding and collateral.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with a Melbourne based marketing company, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beamcreative.com.au\/horner-recruitment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beam<\/a>, the rebrand involved a thorough, collaborative and multi-stage process with a range of stakeholders which included our clients, candidates, Director Peter Langford, Executive Management, Horner Marketing team and VECCI Interns. To fully bring our new brand to life also required the assistance of a number of other suppliers including a video production company (<a href=\"https:\/\/visualdomain.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Visual Domain<\/a>), signage company (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.signway.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Signway<\/a>), corporate stationery supplier (Copy Place) and promotional goods company (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brandedproducts.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Branded Products<\/a>) to execute our new look and feel.<\/p>\n<p>Our purpose<strong> \u201cConnecting people, Shaping futures\u201d<\/strong> was also a key driver in the rebrand process.\u00a0 Our rebrand needed to reflect our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horner.com.au\/about\/\">Purpose, Vision and Values<\/a> which were developed by the whole organisation prior to rebranding.\u00a0 Knowing why we\u2019re doing what we\u2019re doing (our mission\/purpose), where we\u2019re trying to go (our vision), and how we\u2019re going to go about it (your values) is the glue that holds out organisation together.<\/p>\n<p>Rebranding was more than a cosmetic change. It was an opportunity for our branding and message to align with the Horner of today and for the future. It has enabled Horner to have a consistent message for all our Horner Community &#8211; clients, candidates and staff.<\/p>\n<p>Proud of our heritage, we are excited and invigorated by the elevation of our brand internally and externally within the Horner community.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the feedback we have received about our new branding:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>\u201cLooks more professional&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cSharper.
