{"id":2619,"date":"2023-02-07T03:00:08","date_gmt":"2023-02-07T03:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horner-au.ap.applyflow.com\/uncategorized\/family-and-domestic-violence-leave-entitlements-changes\/"},"modified":"2024-11-12T02:20:59","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T02:20:59","slug":"family-and-domestic-violence-leave-entitlements-changes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.horner.com.au\/family-and-domestic-violence-leave-entitlements-changes\/","title":{"rendered":"How to adjust to the Family and Domestic Violence Leave entitlements changes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From 1 February 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairwork.gov.au\/newsroom\/news\/new-paid-family-and-domestic-violence-leave\">paid\u00a0family and domestic violence leave entitlements<\/a> have increased from 5 days to 10 days for\u00a0businesses (with more than 15 employees).\u00a0\u00a0 For small businesses (those that employ less than 15 people), the changes come into effect on 1 August 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key points to note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All employees &#8211; regardless of whether they are full time, part time or\u00a0casual \u00a0&#8211; can access\u00a0this Leave.<\/li>\n<li>Leave is not pro-rated,\u00a0does not accumulate from year to year and the leave entitlement renews on each employee\u2019s work anniversary.<\/li>\n<li>Information relating to paid family and domestic violence leave must not be included on an employee&#8217;s pay slip.
