Horner Recruitment are looking for professional, motivated team players to participate in a variety landscaping and gardening temporary assignment.  Local Government and various other opportunities are currently available within the Northern, Western and South Eastern suburbs.

About the role
Working outdoors this position will have you maintaining large community parks, reserves, sporting fields and roadside nature strips.

Duties

• Mowing (ride on mower)
• Brush cutting
• Blowing down paths
• Chemical spraying
• Garden Bed Maintenance
• Pruning of bushes
• Use of non – powered hand tools

Skills & experience

• Valid Victorian Drivers licence
• Valid Working with Children’s Check
• Certificate III in Horticulture
• MR Truck Licence desirable
• Traffic Control Card desirable
• First Aid certificate desirable
• Advanced attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
