DESCRIPTION

HORNER are currently seeking experienced, professional and motivated HR Drivers to service our clients in the Eastern and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Casual opportunities are available to commence immediately with an attractive pay rate on offer of $29.67 per hour

Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Undertake duties and ensure work complies with safe work practices, policies and procedures relevant to the task being carried out.
• Carry out maintenance activities relating to the Council’s Civil Infrastructure, specifically Roads and Drains
• Operate specialised items of plant in a safe and efficient manner to the standard required,
• Undertake labouring duties as and when required,
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of allocated plant in accordance with Councils procedures.

Your skills and experience:
Essential

• A current Victorian HR class Driver’s Licence
• Certificate III or IV in Roads & Drains or extensive relevant experience in the Roads & Drains industry.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance practices related to Civil Infrastructure, preferably roads and drainage construction and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Desirable:

• A current Traffic Control ticket
• Spotters Ticket
• First Aid level 2 ticket
