    DESCRIPTION

    Use your expertise in fast-paced, specialist secretarial work, support two renowned and progressive urologists who are experts in robotic laparoscopic urology and urological cancers.

    What you will be doing:  

    • Secretarial support to Mr Philip Dundee (Fridays in Fitzroy) & Professor Anthony Costello (Tuesdays at Australian Prostate Cancer Centre)
    • Appointment and operative scheduling
    • Liaising with patients, hospital staff, anaesthetists, referrers
    • Patient invoicing & receipting (Medicare, DVA, Private Health Funds)
    • Supporting admin team in ensuring the practice operates seamlessly
    • Scanning, typing, faxing
    • Answering phones and patient enquiries
    • Providing patients with surgical estimates, booking procedures and coordinating
    • post op appointments

    About you:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a specialist reception/secretarial role
    • Current Victorian Driver’s License
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships
    • Empathetic and kind nature
    • Thrives on working autonomously
    • Punctual
    • Exemplary time management and organisational skills
    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Ability to anticipate doctors needs and plan ahead
    • Willingness to travel to the Mornington Peninsula to cover leave from time to time


    About the role:

    • Part-time, permanent role
    • Work Tuesday and Friday (can be more days for the right candidate)
    • 9:00am to 5:00pm – no overtime
    • Based out of North Melbourne and Fitzroy
    • Earn $30-35 p/hr (commensurate to experience)
