DESCRIPTION
Working closely with the People and Culture Manager, you will support day to day operations of the People & Culture (P&C) function. Through close working relationships you will play a pivotal role in helping to further develop the strategic direction for the practice culture and the development of the ClarkeHopkinsClarke team.
About the role:
- Full time, 12 month fixed term contract
- Monday to Friday with negotiable flexibility
- Based in Carlton in the University Precinct
- Part of and supported by the Studio Service team (strategy, people and culture, finance, marketing, operations, technology, systems and executive)
- Suitable for HR Graduates
- Attractive salary circa $70-75K + super (negotiable for suitably experienced candidates)

What you will be doing: (refer to CHC position description for full duties)
- Manage day-to-day administration of P&C, acting as a key -staff contact for HR queries
- Assist in the development and embedment of P&C policies
- Deliver onboarding and offboarding processes for all staff to ensure a positive employee experience
- Ensure staff databases, records and documentation are maintained
- Maintain personnel records to track leave and performance reviews
- Oversee and support Practice events and cultural/social activities
- Modelling a culture that is open to change, innovation, collaboration, respect and accountability
Selection Criteria:
- Knowledge of office systems, procedures, and relevant software platforms
- Multi diary management skills in Outlook
- Ability to work autonomously as well as an effective member of the studio management team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and have the confidence of the team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HR management practices and procedures
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners and employees
