Horner wins TALiNT International Annual Recruitment Award (TIARAs)

16 November 2020

We are proud and excited to announce we have won the TALiNT International Annual Recruitment Awards (TIARAs) “Back Office Support Team of the Year” Award for 2020!  We are honoured to also be a Finalist in the ‘Client Service Award’ category.

The winners were announced at a virtual awards ceremony on Friday, 13 November 2020 attended by more than 100 leaders from the country’s top performing recruitment companies.

Previously known as the RI Awards, the TIARAs are hosted by TALiNT Partners to recognise innovation and best practice in the Australian recruitment industry.  The TIARAs are a national campaign and one of the one of the most coveted and prestigious accolades in the recruitment sector.

Horner’s Director, Peter Langford, accepted the award on behalf of  Horner Recruitment.

“The Back Office Team are often seen as the unsung heroes but not at Horner. Our Corporate Services team, very ably led by Tess Jones, Manager – Corporate Services, are central to our success as they are client and candidate focused just like the rest of us.  They are subject matter experts, very reliable and are the ‘go to’ people for our consultants, candidates and clients.

In this particular year I am really proud of winning this award because it is our 45th year in business and what a year it has been with COVID.  All this team quickly mobilised to work from home and have done a fantastic job throughout the year. Congratulations to our “Back Office” Corporate Services team – you certainly deserve this recognition.”

The judges praised Horner for our strong evidence of innovation, our team collaboration and solutions focused delivery.

“COVID-19 has moved organisations and the world from ‘business as usual’ to transformation”, said David Head, Director of TALiNT Partners. “On the back of one of the hardest trading periods on record, this year’s pandemic-defying TIARA winners have triumphed to achieve continued growth and development in their businesses.”

“All of our TIARA Recruitment Awards finalists are an inspiration to the industry for their drive for excellence before the pandemic and their resilience through lockdown,” said Andy Daniels, Commercial Director of TALiNT Partners. “This year’s winners are doubly impressive – not only demonstrating excellence in their client and candidate service but helping to transform the recruitment sector and the way it is valued by employers.”

Thank you to TALiNT Partners and sponsors for hosting the awards.

Congratulations to all the TIARA finalists and award winners this year.

We are proud to be named the Winner for the “Back Office Support Team of the Year” Award and we will continue to strive to support and provide service excellence to our clients and candidates.

Horner, Connecting people, Shaping futures.
