DESCRIPTION

Business Intelligence Analyst

A newly created crucial position is available due to exponential growth to join a true Consumer-centric business where decisions are based on customers’ desires in a role that shapes the data & analytics strategy. With financial analysis, you will develop and deliver presentations and workshops, and nurture relationships with stakeholders.

You will assist bringing digital initiatives to life, and drive the future of business on a national scale with a core purpose to explore, scope, prioritize, manage and pilot new initiatives for digitally augmenting the commercial operations, and drive efforts to build and capture value through ecosystem partnerships.

Your duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Track consumer behavior and trends through consumer quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Track market trends, category development and brand performance through cooperation with market research companies.
  • Assist new product launches, brand strategies
  • Provide analytical expertise and thought leadership in understanding business performance and leverage internal and external data assets
  • Create executive-level presentations to help in communicating insights, aligning stakeholders, and driving effective decision-making
  • Contribute, monitor and manage the successful implementation of data & analytics initiatives
  • Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, deep learning and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns
  • Generate query from large operational data sets and develop BI reports to support business intelligence analytics
  • Collaborate with other project teams leading the Data Architecture and Data Modelling to ensure good alignment between the technical and functional project goals
  • Based on e-commerce data insights, work closely with business teams to clarify operation strategies, and improve operational efficiency
  • Work closely across the brand digital marketing team to set up KPI matrix and evaluate media delivery performance

Skills and attributes for the position include;

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, physics, IT or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in program management, ideally with a background in management consulting, strategy consulting or an equivalent field
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability and passion to step up into a strategic management position in the future
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience developing executive presentations, documents, etc. with advanced level MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills (or equivalent)
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Working experience in consumer digital marketing / eCommerce ideal
  • Working experience with advanced analytics either programming machine learning or similar models, or in an analytics translator capacity
  • Familiarity with Python, R or similar programming languages, and with basic IT/cloud architecture & technologies not essential however preferable
  • Strong analytical ability, critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Be able to present analytics reports in a clear, effective and dynamic manner
  • A firm understanding of SEO, SEM
  • Strong ownership, result-oriented, bias for actions, ability to prioritize, and deliver high quality results
  • Excellent team player and interpersonal skill.
