Your new role

Working alongside a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Commission, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as testing units, torque drivers and sealing tools
• Repair, modify or replace devices such as pneumatic hand tools, jigs and fixtures and mechanical presses
• Conduct other general repair and maintenance works to the site facility
• Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment and tooling
• Assistance in the management of contractors in the service and repair of plant equipment and processes
• Support engineering department in facility projects including ; plant layouts, security systems, fire systems and cleaning
• Assist in driving continuous improvements in safety and operational efficiency

About you

As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you will have:

• Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and modify basic equipment and jigs and fixtures
• Ideally 5 years’ experience with pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Ability to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and electronic component is advantageous
• Understanding of computing systems such as online parts catalogues, SAP beneficial
