DESCRIPTION
Use your experience in the pharmaceutical industry to support the sales team as the business embarks on a period of targeted growth. This newly created role in the business will ensure the sales team has access to administrative sales support. What you will be doing:
- Assist in forecasting sales for products, existing and new, and establish “order plans” with the Operations Manager
- Identify when tenders are issued and due by contacting key tender bodies
- Assist in the delivery of private and public tenders
- Contact customers to ensure that are aware of tender listed products for purchase
- Monitor tender sales on a monthly basis by reviewing actual sales versus estimated usage
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, actively promoting and upselling products
- Update CRM and notify wholesalers for tender product set up and special pricing
- Update PBS changes in CRM and with wholesalers
- Assist with marketing and promotional material
- Obtain competitor pricing information to develop sales strategy
About you:
- Minimum of 3 years’ Customer Service experience within the pharmaceutical industry (mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professional of all organisational levels
- Abilities in problem solving and negotiation
- High level of business acumen
- Sound knowledge of hospital and retail pharmaceuticals
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
About the role:
- Full time, permanent role
- Based on site in Mulgrave
- Salary circa $60-65K + super (commensurate to experience)
