DESCRIPTION

Under the guidance of the People & Culture Manager, this role oversees recruitment and supervises the team in talent acquisition. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers and candidates to facilitate a smooth and efficient recruitment process within deadlines.
You’ll successfully team up with purpose driven Managers to assess staffing needs and devise effective hiring strategies. With your passion and focus, you will attract high-calibre candidates through innovative recruitment campaigns, ensuring positive candidate engagement.

About the role:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of recruitment strategies, policies, and procedures within the ALPA Recruitment Framework.
  • Be instrumental in the implementation of the new HRIS, researching and maximising AI capabilities.
  • Proactive management of the Recruitment Team, leading by example and supporting the Team to professionally deliver successful recruitment outcomes.
  • Evaluate and maintain recruitment programs including scheduled reporting, data and trend analysis.
  • Establishing socials and in-person network presence with potential candidate sources.
  • Ensuring a high level of confidentiality, professional service delivery, effective problem solving, and a sense of urgency are hallmarks of the Team.

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial recruitment.
  • RCSA certification &/or tertiary qualifications in HR, psychology, or training and development. (Desirable)
  • High-level leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication abilities to forge strong relationships across diverse educational backgrounds, linguistic capabilities, and ethnicities.
  • Experience with ATS, Job Board integration and recruitment reporting systems.
