DESCRIPTION

As the Business Development Manager, you will use your experience in mapping and developing a logistically sound growth strategy.

About the role:

  • Full time permanent position
  • $100-110K base + commissions + super (commensurate to experience)
  • Join an engaged team who work out of a contemporary converted warehouse in Richmond
  • Work with a visionary company who have created an innovative service offering
  • Play an instrumental role in the business’ locker roll out strategy

What you’ll be doing:

  • Researching business opportunities and identifying and developing new markets to ensure business growth and goals are met.
  • Developing growth strategies and plans.
  • Increasing client base, attracting, and contacting prospective clients to grow and expand company presence.
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients. Increasing the value of current clients.
  • Developing quotes and business proposals for clients.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts.
  • Having in-depth knowledge of business products.

What we are looking for:

  • Quantifiable track record of creating, managing and converting a pipeline of opportunities into sales contracts (submitted resume should reflect your sales achievements)
  • High levels of social skills, focused on building relationships and trust
  • Autonomy and drive to focus on completing the tasks to achieve the sales goals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Accountability
  • Ideally an already established network of close contacts to grow locker locations (a strong network in the western suburbs of Melbourne will be highly regarded)
  • Deep knowledge of one or more of the key market segments: commercial property management, strata management and owner’s corporations
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
