Temp Medical Receptionist

DESCRIPTION

Medical Receptionists | Melbourne CBD: now welcoming expressions of interest 

Due to the expansion of our Medical and Health Division, we are looking for Temp Medical Receptionists to work for our clients in both private and public clinics across around Melbourne’s CBD and inner suburbs. 

Seeking resilient and vibrant superstars who thrive in changing environments and have the flexibility to adapt to constantly changing environments. If you are looking for variety and have an unmatched attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Assignment duties:

  • Patient billing – both privately and through medicare
  • Processing patient payments
  • Processing health fund claims through HICAPS/Healthpoint
  • Booking appointments
  • Managing patient records
  • Handling telephone enquiries
  • Dealing with complex customers – upset/challenging patients
  • Referral and recall follow ups
  • Medicare enquiries
  • Data entry

Essential Criteria: 

  • Previous experience in a medical reception or medical administration role
  • Experience with medical software programs such as Best Practice, MedicalDirector, Zedmed 
  • Engaging and inviting phone manner
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft office suite 
  • Ability to adapt in fast paced environments 
  • Previous medical reception experience in a general practice or specialist setting
  • Compassion and empathy for patients
