DESCRIPTION

The successful applicants will be responsible for the efficient running of the Waste Transfer Station by providing customer service to all customers and visitors who enter and are able to answer all questions in relation to their waste. This role is ideal for students for students or those looking for Part Time hours.

  Your role will include:

• Greeting all visitors & customers entering the transfer station
• Assessing waste loads by volume and type
• Advising customers on where to deposit their waste
• Quoting customers
• Answering inbound telephone calls
• Handling payments
• General data entry & administrative skills

  About you:

• Previous experience working in retail &/or hospitality is highly desirable
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong numeracy & literacy skills
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work within a team environment
